Now two states are planning to provide additional stimulus payments to their residents. This is happening because many states have received billions of dollars from the federal government in funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. The act was signed in March 2021 by President Joe Biden and he provided American Residents with a stimulus payment of $1,400.
The stimulus payment given to the states also have a budget surplus and these states have decided to use these additional payments effectively so that every resident struggling with financial issues can get the best help.

List Of The States Providing Their Residents With The 4th Stimulus Checks:
Only a few specific states have announced that they will be providing their respective residents with additional stimulus checks. There are different requirements for different states. Below is a list of states that have announced to distribute money:-
Arizona
The Grand Canyon State has a different policy for providing stimulus checks. They are distributing money to the people going back to their work. They are offering about $2,000 to the unemployed people getting their jobs. But the rule is that the person has to hold their new job for about eight weeks before receiving the money.
California
California, the Golden State is the only one that is providing stimulus checks at a wide range just like the ones distributed by the federal government. As a part of the Golden Stimulus I the government provided a one-time check of $600 or $1,200. In the Golden Stimulus Checks II, they distributed $500 to $1,100.
Colorado
The Colorado government has decided to distribute stimulus checks to the unemployed people in the state. The government sent a payment of about $375 to all the residents who were unemployed due to the consequences of COVID-19. These payments were sent between 15th March 2020 and 24th October 2020.
New York
The government of New York State is providing their folks with a one-time benefit for the unemployed people and workers who lost their jobs due to the breakout of COVID-19. The government paid an amount of $3,200- $15,600 with the help of Excluded Workers Fund program.
New Mexico
New Mexico is known as the land of Enchantment, and the government has decided to distribute $5 million to all the residents. And the ones who are in the category of lower income will get a one-time payment benefit of $750.
Maryland
The government of Maryland will be providing stimulus checks to the ones who have filed for their Earned Income Tax Credit on the taxes for the year 2019. The people who filed for the taxes will get a payment of $500 for the families and $300 for the individuals.
Missouri
This is for the people living in Missouri and working in mental health care centers, nursing homes, jails, or prisons. The Missouri government will be distributing additional stimulus checks of about $250 per check as a reward for working during such a deadly pandemic as a frontline hero.
